Ian Gilbert

Ian Gilbert is a strategist and valued advisor for executive teams of major companies worldwide. As Founder and CEO of Third Core, he has designed and implemented business transformation and professional development initiatives for companies like TELUS, Hewlett Packard, Bell Canada, CGI, Ericsson and Tandberg, as well as developing many fast track, start-up companies in partnership with leading Venture Capital companies. Over the past 15 years, Ian has quietly earned a reputation as one of North America's leading experts in improving sales force productivity by addressing the most challenging issues enterprise sales organization face.

Before establishing Third Core in 2005, Ian held executive sales positions at TELUS, Cable & Wireless, Parametric Technology, Microgen and Reed Elsevier. He currently sits on the Advisory Board of Digital Wyzdom, a data security organization. In the volunteer sector, he has acted as a mentor in the University of Toronto Business School MBA Integrative Management Program and has served on the organizing committee for the e-chapter of Sales & Marketing Executives International, as well as the technology organizing committee for the BC Children's Hospital Miracle Weekend. He is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the DeGroote School of Business.
